Online Recruitment Research moulds Eden Browns' future plans

Objective

Eden Brown is one of the UK’s most successful recruitment consultancies, providing a tailored recruitment service including training, consultancy and managed services across the technical and public sectors. Eden Brown are pioneers in auditing and quality assurance within the recruitment industry.

Eden Brown is dedicated to measuring and monitoring the response received from media used (both online and offline) and is also committed to providing best practice through its online recruitment offering.

Eden Brown engaged Enhance Media’s specialist online recruitment research services with a number of aims:

Methodology

Enhance Media designed and served a rich media overlay on the Eden Brown site. From the overlay users were invited to complete an online questionnaire, which did not ask for any contact information, consequently not involving any data protection legislation. The survey was also conducted adhering to Market Research Society guidelines.

The questionnaire was presented in Eden Brown’s look and feel in order to maximise response rates to the survey. The actual survey itself was hosted on Enhance Media’s server and minimal technical input was required from Eden Brown.

The questionnaire contained 24 questions covering five main areas; demographics, experience, job seeking behaviour, online and offline media usage and attitudes towards consultancies during the job seeking process. The questionnaire took no longer than five minutes to complete.

Results

Enhance Media collected, collated and analysed the data in detail. The results were then presented to Eden Brown along with recommendations. Eden Brown was also provided the data in Excel format. Eden Brown has since used the data internally for review and budget planning, and will be using the data extensively throughout the rest of the year as part of their media and marketing plans.
