1 - NORAS 2007 results
The results of NORAS 2007 are out on 29th Janaury. NORAS 2007 is bigger and more detailed than ever before. It's based on questionnaires completed by over 37,000 online job seekers across 27 of the UK's leading job boards. The research also contains new information (on the technology that job seekers use, the areas that those still studying want to work in and how often job seekers go online) in addition to all the core job seeker demographics including job role, employer sector, qualifications, salary and seniority.
You can register to download the results for free as a pdf from January 29th and access NORAS interactive - the online tool that allows you to easily compare job board audiences. This year we're also producing more free downloads that will give you a wealth of information on online job seekers - these will include historical trends andinformation on online job seekers in particular roles and sectors. Sign up for NORAS updates when registering on the site for news about the availability of these downloads or check the NORAS site regularly to find out more.

If you're attending our conference on January 30th then you can let us know about any particular issues you'd like addressed on the day by adding a comment against the post about the event. We'll also use the blog to answer questions that are raised at our training seminars.
5 -Tracking the effectiveness of Pay-Per-Click advertising
We've signed up with Bid Buddy to enable our Pay-Per-Click advertising team to track the effectiveness of clients' search engine advertising. We're currently rolling the system out to existing clients and can implement the tracking on all new search engine advertising campaigns.
The tracking enables us not just to tell you how many candidates visit your site, but what they do once they get there (register, apply for a job etc). This enables us to help you track your ROI and establish the cost per application (as well as cost per click) for search engine advertising. To find out more about how this service can help youemail Alastair or call 0207 731 9642.
