To coincide with the Summer 2004 results we've made some exciting changes to the NORAS website. You've now got to register to get the most from the site, but completing the simple registration form should be well worth it.
Firstly registered users can now use the basic version of NORAS interactive for free. NORAS interactive allows you to combine data from different questions in order to drill down into the results in more detail. The basic version of NORAS interactive includes data on the age, UK region, role, seniority and job seeking status of online job seekers and in addition to providing useful information on the audiences of job boards should allow you to get a feel for the system. Subscriptions to the advanced version of NORAS interactive are available at £750 per organisation per year.
Secondly in addition to being able to download the latest results booklet free of charge registered users can now also download historical data in the form of the three previous results booklets - NORAS 2002, NORAS 2003 and NORAS Winter 2004. The site also features a brief overview of each wave on the registered users homepage.
In addition to these changes we've also included some quotes regarding NORAS from key clients and agencies on the site and also added a news section so you can easily keep up to date with developments.

Use NORAS for more than comparing job boards
NORAS was designed to help you compare the audiences of job boards so that you can make more informed advertising decisions, in addition to this we've started to look at what else you can get from the research - after all NORAS uses data gathered from 13,000 online job seekers - making it the largest study of online recruitment ever undertaken.
As well as comparing job boards the NORAS data can enable you to benchmark different industry sectors and learn more about the level of use of online recruitment in each sector. The table below shows the percentage of online job seekers in each industry sector that have applied for a job that they discovered on the internet.
