The annual National Online Recruitment Audience Survey (NORAS) is the largest online recruitment research project in the UK. Seventy online job boards are participating in NORAS 2010, an increase of over 50% compared to the previous year.
Between October and December 2009 the surveys will gather information on the demographic profile and job seeking habits of job board users from a range of industries and sectors. The findings will then be published in early 2010 and will be used by over 10,000 subscribers from the UK's leading employers, recruitment agencies and media buyers to help them select the right job board for their recruitment needs.
Giles Guest, Managing Director of Enhance Media, the online recruitment research and strategy company that produces NORAS commented: “NORAS has more than doubled in size in one year and we are delighted that an increasing number of job boards are recognising the need for independent metric based analysis. The information these surveys provide will enable participating job boards to deliver a more intelligent service to their clients and can be used by employers to help them develop a more effective online recruitment strategy.”
Richard Foan, Managing Director of ABCe stated: “We are delighted to continue our support of NORAS and welcome the commitment of those recruitment web sites who wish to deliver independently audited web traffic data.”
The NORAS 2009 results are free to download at www.noras.co.uk. A free interactive tool, which combines audience data on the profile of online job seekers, with independent web site traffic figures, is also available.
